Ideal Model College

Ideal Model School initiated its Higher Secondary wing offering Science to the grade XI and XII students in 2048 B.S. (1991 A.D.) on request from the existing school stakeholders and in order to move a step closer to realizing our ultimate vision and mission, with support from the Little Angels' School System. We have taken yet another leap in facilitating higher education but with a difference at the IMS premises - Ideal Model College [IMC].

Ideal Model College is dedicated to providing quality education of the highest standards focusing on not just making the students reach their optimum level of academic performance but making them equipped to face all the challenges that lie ahead. IMC is moving beyond the traditional and exam-oriented approach to education by developing a program that is pragmatic in approach, academic in orientation and human in touch. Strict vigilance but in a balanced environment is what the students can look forward to, at IMC. Career counseling, leadership training and community services are an integral part of the education that is being provided at IMC.

Teaching and Learning at IMC

FACULTY

We are proud to have a team of nationally reputed and experienced practitioners who hold advanced degrees in their teaching fields and possess noteworthy success in their areas of expertise.

TEACHING METHOD

Teaching methods at IMC reflects a combination of various techniques such as lectures, tutorials, laboratory work, project work and field work. Our innovative methodology maximizes a student's learning potential. Students will be encouraged to become more critical and creative to cope with the new challenges they have to face in the future.

INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION

Ideal Model provides individual attention to all its students and intends to follow the same at IMC. As a result, the college anticipates to win the faith of its parents and guardians enabling the students to perform to everyone’s expectation.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

Medium of instruction is exclusively English except the vernacular language Nepali.

CLASS HOURS

IMC runs its classes in the morning from 6:40 am to 12:15 pm and in the day, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, tutorial classes for the needy students are arranged as and when required.

EVALUATION

IMC believes in the continuous assessment of students' progress. Thus, their performance is assessed through regular unit tests, homework, project works and term examinations. Students have to show a satisfactory progress in all these to be eligible for the Final Examination conducted by Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) of Nepal.
